In the center of Sorrento, an interior design atelier with a bistro, where you can take a break for breakfast or an aperitif surrounded by wonderful objects that have the scent of the past, the warmth of the coast, and the colors of Campania, pampered by the Iaccarino family.

The story of D’Anton begins in 2004 when Antonia, driven by a great love for interior decoration, opens her small design shop. The years pass and her daughter Francesca also becomes passionate about this profession, especially in giving new life to objects with a past, in “recycling” beauty.

The turning point comes in 2015 when her brother Gabriele also returns from South America, where he worked as a hotel officer for cruise ships, and while he was drinking a hot tea with his family right in front of the atelier, an idea came up: why not combine a bistro with the shop?

D’Anton is our home and our way of living it.

So in 2017, in Piazza S. Antonino in the center of Sorrento, D’Anton Design & Bistrot opened, combining their love for design and hospitality, and since then it has been a point of reference for home furnishings, event designing and also for brunches, aperitifs and dinners with friends.

On two floors, like in a living room of a house that changes every day, here you are immersed in a fairytale atmosphere surrounded by lemons, flowers and candles, wicker furniture and spectacular chandeliers that change continuously depending on the creativity of Antonia and Francesca and the events they organize.

Open from 10 am to midnight, D’Anton is perfect for an organic breakfast of coffee, fresh lemon & orange juices, and yogurt with granola and fruit, or for a quick lunch or an aperitif with a view in its outdoor area to accompany bruschetta, cold cuts, salads and healthy one-dish meals.

When you go, don’t miss a visit to the lower floor, where most of the store’s furnishings and decorations are concentrated, perfect for getting inspiration for your dream home or event.

D’Anton is a corner of pure beauty, where you always feel at home welcomed by the smiles of Francesca and Gabriele.

The Secret

At D’Anton’s everything is for sale and so every time you go you will always find new ornaments; except for the gilded mirror above the right-hand sofa which the owners are very fond of and which is therefore the only object without a price.
