Atelier Inès Arts & Suites
The art atelier and jewelry boutique of the designers Vincenzo Oste and Inès Sellami
In Naples, an art atelier with nine suites, the kingdom of the artist and jewelry designer couple Vincenzo Oste, son of the sculptor Annibale Oste, and Inès Sellami who have embellished every corner of their home with splendid creations.
Atelier Inès Arts & Suites was born in one of the places richest in history and charm of Naples in the Rione Sanità, Via dei Cristallini, once the road that took the rulers with their carriages to the residence of Capodimonte and therefore dotted with splendid palaces and important artisan workshops that served them, such as those of crystal, from which it takes its name.
It is with this location, in particular with a court that until 1930 was a cinema and an open-air theater, that great-grandfather Annibale fell in love when he decided to return to his beloved Naples after having made his fortune with his family in America, where he had gone in 1907 to open a wood processing business.

Our dream is to create a place where art, design and the many cultures of the world blend together in an engaging experience, united by the trait d’union of the extraordinary legacy of the sculptor Annibale Oste.
(Inés e Vincenzo)
So he bought the land and in 1947 he built a house for his family, even bringing some of the furnishings from America, such as the 4 beautiful wooden doors that still characterize the building today.
It is here that in 1980 the studio of his nephew Annibale Oste was born, a famous artist, sculptor and poet, passionate about the cultural stratifications of history as well as the material that he never stops experimenting with, giving life to wonderful objects that will be exhibited all over the world and will become cult of design, such as the furnishings created for Dilmos Milano and many others.
The story of this magical place continues with his son Vincenzo, also a sculptor and artisan jewelry designer, who together with the splendid Inès, an artist herself, gives life to the idea of creating a boutique refuge built “around” the atelier that could blend the authenticity of the artist’s laboratory with a high-level hospitality concept, to allow their guests to experience their creations right where they are born.
Thus in 2017 Atelier Inès Arts & Suites was born, 9 suites, each completely different and decorated with pieces made by Annibale and Vincenzo Oste, prototypes and art objects, as in the wonderful Il Mio Paese suite where the headboard of the bed is the model of the famous ‘Atavola table for Dilmos Milano.
From the sculpted armchairs to the custom-designed mirrors, every detail is a testimony to a long artisanal work dedicated to beauty and originality. Even during the breakfast ritual, served in a lounge overlooking the garden, every detail, from the napkin holders to the accessories, is a small sculpture handmade by Vincenzo.
During their stay, guests can also explore the atelier and the boutique, discovering a selection of unique and custom-made jewelry and handmade treasures, or book one of the experiences offered: from guided tours to workshops, of all levels, to learn the techniques of wax and clay sculpture or the magic of metalworking.
The world of Atelier Inès Arts & Suites offers many other “secrets”, from the wine cellar hidden underground with a well-stocked wine selection to the magnificent internal garden, also the scene of exclusive dinners and events.
A truly unique place in Naples, where you can breathe all the creative force of a city with incredible energy, like that which you can live in the laboratory of Vincenzo and Inès.
The Secret
When Inès and Vincenzo began the renovation of the building to house the suites, they did so without moving the 4 doors brought by their great-grandfather from America, literally working all around them so as not to “affect” their historical memory in any way.
